Ticketmaster Introduces Enhanced Apple Wallet Tickets for a Smarter Event Experience

 

Ticketmaster to Roll Out Apple Wallet's Enhanced Tickets This Month

Ticketmaster has announced that it will be the first ticketing company to adopt Apple Wallet's upgraded ticket features, available with iOS 18. These new tickets offer several useful enhancements that improve the overall event experience for users.

With the upgraded Apple Wallet tickets, attendees will be able to access detailed event information, such as venue maps, parking details, recommended playlists from Apple Music, and local weather forecasts. Additionally, there will be an option for location sharing, making it easier for fans to find their friends once they arrive. Venues and event organizers will also be able to include links to their apps or websites directly on the tickets.

The first event to use these enhanced tickets will be the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) game at BMO Stadium on October 19th. Following that, the Miami Heat will also implement the upgraded ticketing experience, although no specific date has been announced for their rollout. Ticketmaster expects the improved ticket system to be more widely available next year.
